Live a Life Worth Living

Live. Love. Heal. Set people free.

People are often secretly desperate for something beyond this world to show up and save them from themselves and the pit they’ve dug themselves into.

That’s the truth.

God knows I was one of those beautiful girls begging Him to take me home or do something with my mess of a life.

I had become someone I never imagined I could have become. I sold myself to pay the bills and as I entered into hell’s bedroom I prayed God would forgive me for what I was about to do.

I thought I was a good girl, but I had become a bad girl. I hated the feeling of being dirty and I realized my identity of a dirty bad girl started at a very young age. Other people sometimes mark us and we become branded without realizing it.

In order to survive, we make the lifestyle fun until it’s not fun anymore and we can’t hide anymore and we can’t pretend anymore. That’s what I did for years.

That’s when we realize we’ve become someone we’re really not. It can be shocking and we need something to make it bearable, like alcohol or drugs or sex.

But, then it happens, instead of living in hell, heaven will open up and save us, make us truly beautiful and make us who we were born to be. I see it everyday. I see the miracles.

When God pulls you out of the pit of hell, that marks you too.

When the Son has set you free, you are free indeed. I love how the presence of Jesus will flood your heart and make you bright and shiny and new. He will leave his handprint all over you and you might become like me, a healer, marked by the King of kings.

He took my mess and turned it into a message, made me into a seer who sees much more clearly and gave me bravery to say what must be said in order to set the captives free.

Who wouldn’t want to tell that story! C’mon now!  It’s awesome and it’s true. Now go and love on people, heal the sick and pierce the darkness.

That’s my prayer for you. Live a life worth living.
