I know we’re supposed to be in the know on what’s happening in the world. But, it’s no surprise that so much of what we see is so depressing. It can be such a downer and we need to stay inspired and spread good news because there’s enough press pushing the ugly.
So if you’re like me and you find yourself in need of some good news, check this out, a Kickstarter raising money to provide you with just that. Branden Harvey, is the founder and heart behind “Goodnewspaper — a quarterly print newspaper that shines a light on the people, ideas and movements that are changing the world for the better, and invites you to join a global community that does the same for others.”
Three things inspire me about Branden, one that he is a young millennial who is using his gifts and heart for doing good work in the world. Two, he’s traveling the world and telling stories that inspire and encourage other young artists and entrepreneurs to get started living their dream. Lastly, he’s raising money fast with his idea to start a newspaper when others in the industry would say newspapers are a thing of the past.
Although some could say the Goodnewspaper is a naive approach to spreading news, here at Megamorphosis Magazine, we wouldn’t dare. I certainly feel we’re kindred spirits as our mission is to share radical love. I for one am thrilled to see this kind of media coming out. It’s not that tragedy doesn’t exist, but we can learn from each other how to rise above it and it starts with people like Branden “fighting against a world full of hate by celebrating the people, ideas and movements that are changing the world.”
